Phoenix website design + clear project timeline

Get the website direction right first, then move quickly toward launch.

Ell Vii's Automations starts with a complimentary prototype so the longest collaborative phase can happen before the paid production year begins. When you approve the prototype direction and production scope, 50% starts the build and starts your 12-month Year 1 website-service term. The remaining 50% is due when the finished website launches on your domain.

The prototype should carry most of the decision-making

The free prototype is where we work through the visual direction, customer path, site map, separate pages, navigation links, useful anchors, early wording, and representative imagery. Generic or placeholder pictures can be used while the structure is being approved. That keeps the paid production phase focused on refinement instead of restarting the design conversation.

1. Complimentary prototype

No website-project payment is due during the standard pre-sale prototype phase. The goal is to reach the point where the client can say, “Yes, this is the website direction I want.”

2. Approve + pay first 50%

The first 50% payment starts production and starts Day 1 of the 12-month Year 1 website-service term. That anniversary is measured from the first payment date, not from launch.

3. Refine + launch

Production replaces placeholders with approved final images, removes unwanted imagery, finalizes pages/content/functions, completes QA, and launches the site. The final 50% is due at launch.

Why the Year 1 clock starts with the first payment

Once the prototype is approved, the website should be moving toward completion rather than sitting in an open-ended design phase. The first-year term runs for 12 consecutive months from the date Ell Vii's Automations receives the first 50% payment. Launch does not reset that anniversary. Faster client approvals and content decisions mean more of the first year is spent with the completed website already live.

What a small business website should include

Current Year 1 website totals

Stay Live: $1,970 total — $985 to start, $985 at launch.

Growth Partner: $3,970 total — $1,985 to start, $1,985 at launch.

Hybrid Scale: $6,970 total — $3,485 to start, $3,485 at launch.

Market Dominator: $12,000+ total — 50% to start, 50% at launch.

The first payment date starts the 12-month Year 1 website-service term for the selected package.

Production refinement after prototype approval

Once the concept is approved, production can focus on replacing generic/placeholder images, removing rejected images, finalizing the approved page structure, tightening wording, completing forms and integrations within scope, mobile testing, SEO checks, and domain launch.

A material change in direction or new feature outside the approved scope can require a separate quote before that extra work begins.

Launch is the maintenance boundary

The original website build is complete when the approved production website is launched or connected to the client's domain. The final 50% is due at that point. Requested changes after launch, including text edits, image swaps, pricing changes, new sections, new pages, or feature changes, are maintenance or separately scoped post-launch work.

Current Platform Maintenance is $397/month or $3,970/year prepaid. A no-maintenance path is also available, with on-call and critical-restoration pricing shown publicly.
