Once you approve that direction, the paid build starts with 50% and the remaining 50% is due when the finished website launches on your domain.

The prototype is the main collaboration phase.

This is where we can spend the most time getting the direction right before the paid production clock begins. Early prototypes may use generic or placeholder imagery so we can focus on structure and experience first.

1. Complimentary prototypeShape the layout, site map, pages, navigation, anchors, message, and visual direction. No website-project payment and no Year 1 clock yet.
2. Approve + first 50%When you say the direction is right, the production build begins. The date Ell Vii’s Automations receives this first payment is Day 1 of your 12-month Year 1 website-service term.
3. Refine + launchReplace placeholders with approved final images, remove unwanted imagery, finalize content and functionality, complete quality checks, then launch. The final 50% is due at launch.
Your Year 1 anniversary does not restart at launch. The first-year term runs for 12 consecutive months from the first 50% payment date. Keeping approvals, content, and image decisions moving helps you get more of that first year with the finished website already live.

What happens after launch?

Launch is the completion boundary for the original website build. Requested changes after the website is live, including text changes, image swaps, pricing updates, new sections, new pages, or feature changes, are maintenance or separately scoped work.

Before launch refinement can include

  • Replacing generic or placeholder images
  • Removing images you do not want
  • Final page and navigation cleanup
  • Final approved wording and contact details
  • Mobile, form, link, and SEO checks
  • Reasonable finishing corrections within the approved scope

You do not need to arrive with a perfect site map or finished content. The prototype is where we work through the idea. Once you approve it, production should be refinement and launch, not another long round of deciding what the website is supposed to be.
